World Music Awards
AIR Post Production have just completed work on this years World Music Awards Show. The awards ceremony based in Monaco was hosted by Michelle Rodriguez and Hayden Panettiere and featured performances from Jennifer Lopez, N.E.R.D, Ludacris and David Guetta.
AIR Post handled all of the post production for this one off programme including offline, online, grade and audio. Because of the incredibly tight turn around AIR Post staff worked through the night to ensure that the programme was delivered on time and to the highest possible standard.
"The most challenging part of post producing this show was the fact the broadcasters continuously brought forward their dates of transmission because of the success and coverage the awards ceremony received. At one point we even had a runner ready to jump on the Eurostar at the last minute!"- Rona McHugh, Post
Producer.
The offline edit was completed by Ryan Titley, Rosa Bond and Karen Clark and the online and grade by Mike Curd. Yasser Rahman also helped with the pre-grade and blurring. Audio wise Richard Lewis and Steven Parker handled the dub and mix.
"Everyone at AIR Post has worked tirelessly to ensure that the 'World Music Awards' show got to the many broadcasters on time. With it transmitting in 164 countries and across 206 broadcasters, this is no mean feat and all the staff at AIR Post managed to not only do this but remain panic free at all times. I look forward to returning with my future projects." - Jason Shepherd, Producer.
The show will be airing in the UK on Channel 4 at 11.45pm on 4th June and then repeated on 6th June at 2pm.
