The True Story is a docomentary series which allows you to find out the real story behind block buster films, characters of the underworld and supernatural horrors. AIR Post Production provided an end to end post production service for this series produced by Alison Turner at Blink Films.

The series will be broadcast on Channel Five, Smithsonian Channel, History Channel (UK), Discovery Canada, and BBC World Wide

Hunt For The Red October

Documentary focusing on the true story behind Tom Clancy's blockbuster. During the Cold War, Russian naval officer Valery Sablin started a 1975 mutiny on The Storozhevoy, one of the Soviet Union's state-of-the-art destroyers. He and his crew headed out into the Baltic Sea in a bid to start a second people's revolution. Terrified that Sablin was defecting to the West with a ship full of secrets, the Brezhnev regime mobilized Air Force bombers and Navy warships to try and stop him.

Casino

The documentary series delves into the Martin Scorsese movie ‘Casino’. The 1995 film was based on the true story of a murderous enforcer who ruled Las Vegas for the Chicago mob. Only a highly organised FBI operation was able to expose the criminal tentacles flowing through the city’s underbelly.
