Frankie Joins AIR

Frankie Jacobs joins AIR Post Production as their new Head of Post.

Jacobs said: "I'm delighted to be joining AIR at such an exciting time and to be an integral part of the company's expansion programme, to be part of a business with such a rich heritage is truly a wonderful opportunity".

AIR have recently invested heavily in a new facility in Shoreditch having outgrown their previous old building which they shared with sister company Strongroom, part of the groups world-class audio facilities.

The new facility, minutes from Old Street Station, has over twenty suites with a mixture of Avid and Final Cut and the variety of projects that are being worked reflect the diversity of the local area.

"Shoreditch is a real hub of creativity and because of this I'm looking forward to working with a much broader range of clients than I perhaps might have done in the West End", continues Jacobs, "AIR really have been involved in a myriad of projects since they moved into the new building. As well as the normal high end documentaries and dramas, they've created complete sound designed environments for art installations, worked on a couple of feature films, alongside work on high end commercials.”

Jacobs who joins from the West End facility The Mews, will be responsible for looking for new growth opportunities for AIR Post Production based on her years of experience as a Senior Post Producer specialising in graphics, design and effects compositing, as well as the day to day running of the division. Frankie joins Clare Manning who also recently joined AIR from Unit as a Post Production Manager.

AIR Post Production is the post division of the world renowned AIR Lyndhurst Group (www.airstudios.com) which includes amongst its other divisions, the recording facilities AIR Studios, based in a Grade II listed building in Hampstead, originally built by Sir George Martin and Strongroom which is also based in Shoreditch and features many music studios, audio post facilities and the ever popular Strongroom Bar and Restaurant.
